Hey folks!

I’m Kylie Havelock — Director of Product & Platforms at Citizens Advice, on a mission to help make technology a force for positive social change. I lead the design and delivery of software products and platforms at one of the UK’s most important charities, making sure that our services are underpinned by best-in-class technology.

In government I led product teams delivering large scale user-centred public services at the Canadian Digital Service in Ottawa, and the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Health and Social Care in the U.K. I was named in the Top 100 World’s Most Influential Young People in Government.

In a previous life I was a lead producer at Penguin Books — creating beautiful print, ebooks and apps for children. When I’m not collaborating with my teams, I’m probably editing my podcast, or learning about accessible web design.

I’m passionate about service delivery for underrepresented and minoritised communities, and I’m always looking for meaningful missions in this space.
